Life Painting part 1
On thursday afternoon was the first life painting session which involved drawing with pencil. The session was about capturing an impression of the subject the importancce of creating distance in a 3-dimensional image was emphasized.
Im pleased with the outcome as I believe I managed to create a reasonably precise drawing of the subject. The broader lines create brings the closer parts forward and the fainter lines help bring the piece a better perception of form.This particular case was given shade by applying the hatching and I enjoyed exploring the ways in which to which was expanded on as I drifted out from the figure into the surrounding items.
